Here's where there's a disconnect for me. How can one have a meaningful relationship in a gay relationship? Of course, it is also difficult to have a meaningful hetero relationship, but as RedHead points out, what do our wishes or hopes matter for extended family members?

We can't control relationships, we can't affect them, so why would it matter one or the other? Shouldn't we just hope they are financially solvent, physically healthy and leave it at that. If those two aspects are in order, usually people will find enough to do.

Some of us also worry ourselves of the notion of exaltation as well.

Because I have no idea how homosexuality fits in with the plan, if it fits, I kinda throw my hands up and say, "go at it." Thankfully, that is not something I've had to deal with at a family or personal level.

But I don't worry about the personal relationships of siblings, nor do I hope they have one or multiple partners. I just hope they can provide for themselves, can stay healthy and maintain a relationship with me. More than that seems greedy, and presupposes I have enough wisdom to know what is best for them.
