Default What did you get for Christmas?

Instead of a complete run-down, what was the best gift you received?

Me: X-box 360. 8)

Did you get the Launcher 460? I got one last year and find that I now hit the ball about 15 yards farther out of bounds.

No. It's the Sport OS 410. I've hit the Launcher though and I had the same problem. I then tried the OS and I was able to keep the clubhead pretty damn square. The offset helps a ton at address. On my old driver a knockoff of the Titelist 975 I had a hard time just adjusting with my grip to get the club square at address. With this club I rest it behind the ball and I'm all square.

I'd definitely try it. You can find it at most golf outlets for around $100 now too.

I got nothing and liked it.

My mother-in-law scored the nicest gift this year. My father-in-law gave her a 2006 Lexus RX.

Wellll...I didn't get a Lexus but I did get some other things. I know that this was just supposed to be the best present but I'm going to list several:

- a hand woven basket that my parents brought back from their cruise to Panama. Its very light and extremely tightly woven. Supposedly it can hold water. Also a $50 giftcard for walmart.

- $$ from my wife's parents and grandparents. It didn't offend me at all.

- My wife's parents gave me a drill set. Her brother gave me a ratchet set. I asked her why her family was giving me tools and she said, 'because that's the kind of thing that they would want.' *shrug* They may come in useful.

- From my wife: a trombone stand; I actually asked for this as it will probably be useful in the future. Also, she said to pick a mavs game to go to.

- My sister-in-law: Never Have Your Dog Stuffed by Alan Alda. I'm actually looking forward to reading it as I'm an Alda fan.

That's what I can think of just sitting here. Really, the nice part was spending time with family.

I got a trainer for my road bike and a heart rate monitor. Maybe there's enough time to get into shape for Solvang.
