Default New Yorker or Market Street Grill?

For you Utahns and those who live out of state but have been to both restaurants a question for you:

They're both under the Gastronomy label.

I've been to Market Street several times. I've never been to The New Yorker.

I've a date tonight and plan on taking her to one of the two. I noticed on the website that as expensive as Market Street is that New Yorker is on average about 10 bucks more expensive per plate. I'd like to try New Yorker but if it's just the same as Market Street then I'd just prefer going there.

For those who've been is there much of a difference?

New Yorker is a lot better.

The New Yorker, I would say is a bit better. Market Street though is pretty good as well. Either one of these restaurants is probably better than most places that people take their dates to in SLC, so you should probably be fine with either.

Unless you are sold on one of those two, I love 'Five Alls' up on Foothill. A lot of food and it is terrific. Prices will run in the $25-35 range per plate.

never been to either.. I looked at the website for the New Yorker and it says it is a private club for members. Is that just for the bar area or the whole restaurant?

C'mon Rocky - you know you want to go to Sizzler.

A salad bar and a steak. How can you beat that?
