Just finished 24: Season 2

I loved the shot of President Palmer sitting in the chair, under arrest. Head tilted slightly, both arms on armrests. Homage to Lincoln Memorial.

Then there was the part where Palmer tells Mike Novik. "I appreciate you calling CTU in the 11th hour. But I expected you to be with me to the end."

I almost cried right there. An allusion to Christ and Peter.

In some ways I think Palmer is a more interesting character than Jack.

In my opinion Season 2 was the best. Season 5 might be tied with it, but for sheer intensity, great twists and male Jack Bauer-ish soap opera stuff Season 2 was my favorite.

I loved the George Mason/Jack Bauer scene in the airplane. George's line was great..."Jack....I was meant to do this....now go."

It's amazing how in Season 1 and the beginning of Season 2 they made you hate George Mason,,,but how quickly the tide turned and he became a very sympathetic character.
