Actually, I'm wondering what you are really thinking about this. Let's see, could it be: The scientists are wrong, the remains aren't really of indigenous northern Europeans, they're Nephites. And even though Nephites are purportedly simitic and from the Mediterranean region they grew "white and delightsome," i.e., deceptively looking like northern Europeans, because they were so righteous.

Is that your logic here? I doubt it. More evidence Waters is a closet apostate.

Nobody in their right mind would think what you accuse Waters of thinking. All of us were looking at this as evidence that Hagoth (Alma 63:6-8) went on a promised land recruiting trip to Northern Europe and brought back a whole group of delightsome people. Just think of this as the first prototype of the Heber Valley.
