The song is very familiar to me and it's starting to bug me that I can't think of who sings it. Perhaps one of my fellow 80s new wave fans here can help me out.

I have no idea who sings it, but I am fairly certain that I saw him briefly do the Teacher two-step about 2 minutes into the video. I should know - I perfected the move as a young, undersized 14 year old lad while wearing a skinny black tie and penny loafers, with a long handled comb sticking out of my back pocket.
