MikeWaters is an unknown quantity at this point
Default if in fact marriage is so important to society

why don't we do things to support marriage in the church? And I don't mean just marriages in the church. But marriages in the entire country. In the entire world.

instead of being known as the church that opposes gay marriage, we could be known as the church that supports healthy and strong marriages.

Wouldn't that be a much more positive message?

But there I go again, steadying the ark.

I don't know what such an effort would entail. Public service spots? Legislation? Marriage classes on the ground? Expanding LDS social services?
