Default New meetinghouse locator

http://maps.lds.org/

It would be nice if a search could tell you what ward an address is in.

yes, I think it does. I tested this out a few weeks back, and I was mildly annoyed to be reminded of the fact that there are 2 (or was it 3) meeting houses closer to my home than the assigned building I go to to meet with my assigned ward.

at least you don't have to give rides to the youth in the opposite direction from your home because parents are irresponsible.

In addition to your assigned church not being the closest.

yes, I suppose, but I do sometimes give people rides out of my way. I'm sure that happens everywhere.

Mike when you do these things for those in your ward do you do it with a smile of your face because you're willing to help or do you do it begrudgingly.

I don't do it anymore.

I will stay at the church til 11pm, and it hasn't happened yet that a parent hasn't come by 11pm.

I give two kids a ride to church every Sunday. That's fine. I'm happy to do it.

But when parents, in the past, have no regard for my time and don't pick up their kids from activities, that annoys me. It's called disrespect.
