Waters, I don't mean to be flip or insensitive here
Serious question. At such time as Israel turned occupied territories over to Palestinians should the Palestinians owe any reparations for Israeli improvements? It seems to me Israel has turned a harsh land into a land of milk and honey and the Palestinians want the land as improved by the Israelis.

Do the Israelis owe reparations for the more than 400 Palestianian villages that they "wiped off of the map", i.e. leveled and destroyed?
Palestinians (or Persians) are condemned for their statements, whereas when Israelis actually DO IT, they are praised. I think what is really going on is that Israelis are living in Palestinian homes. Not vice versa. With nary a cent paid. |

Curious, Mike. I shouldn't ask this since I can guess the answer, but can you provide a neutral, historical moral foundation for why West Bank land is any more Palestinian than Israeli?

This is easy. Because they have lived there for hundreds of years as their own people and culture. Therefore they shouldn't be expelled off their own land in favor of Jews.

What was the population of Jew and Arab in the West Bank in 1948? I don't know, so I'm not trolling.

Did they have plumbing and electricity and paved streets? I don't know; I'm not trolling.

Mindful, and we are to condemn Arafat for not accepting Israel's offer of the 4th map?
