Good piece - thanks. Comments re: the difficulty of the transition to Stage 4 (Individuative-Reflective) as related to increasing age are interesting:

"The later this transition occurs in adult life the more difficult the transition tends to be. When it is delayed until individuals thirties or forties, it can be quite disturbing..."

More reason to join CG young and ease the pain.
