Default Obama a Mormon?

Quote:
Perot says he intends to vote for Mitt Romney in the Texas Republican primary on March 4, citing Romney's experience in business and his family values. "When I went to the Naval Academy and met my first Mormons, I asked why so many were excellent officers," Perot recalls. "I learned it was because of their strong family unit."

When I asked about Barack Obama, Perot said he admired his eloquence but thought it "a little odd that we would be less concerned about his background than being a Mormon." Perot was pleasantly surprised when I told him that Obama was a Christian, not a Muslim, and relieved when I informed him that the e-mail Perot (and untold others) received about Obama not respecting the Pledge of Allegiance was a fraud.

Perot isn't a Hillary hater, but he's not a Clinton fan either, relating the bumper sticker he received that reads MONICA LEWINSKY'S EX-BOYFRIEND'S WIFE FOR PRESIDENT.

Admit it. You voted for him in '92.

Fallen? I think he has always been there. I also think that some Newsweek editor screwed up on the Mormon/Muslim thing.

I admit I was on a Perot kick for a couple months when he first announced back then. His talk was refreshing and I liked his talk on finances. But his craziness was exposed pretty fast. Not to mention his running mate. Was that guy hilarious or what? They could have put Robin Williams in for him in that one debate and the mumblings would have been equally distinguishable.

James Stockdale is a distinguished war hero and a POW who just passed away recently. He was a terrible candidate, and his debate performance was abysmal, but I think he deserves some respect.

Robin Williams played a war hero in the movies and I'm sure someone believes he deserves some respect. But I can't understand what he's saying half the time either.
