The Borne Ultimatum as a critique of the Bush administration
Pretty obvious.
Bourne is the opposite of Jack Bauer, from 24. Bourne seeks to end torture and black-ops. Bauer revels in the commission of it. Bourne series endorses checks and balances. 24 sneers at them. I'm surprised that some of you were not more upset with this liberal propaganda. |

I read something on that a while ago in National Review. Bourne is the left-wing's only real action hero.
Recently, Matt Damon was trashing James Bond calling him a mysoginist and imperialist among other things.
