i would keep ucla on the schedule knowing that you are coming back next year with basically the same team and have a very good shot at beating them. even in a down year at UCLA, it would be a decent win for the cougs.

Holmoe did NOT mention the possiblity of rescheduling the UCLA game. Someone asked him if he would and he said that we had every intention of fulfilling our contract.

Quote:
When asked this morning if BYU and UCLA would play next fall, BYU athletic director Tom Holmoe said the teams have every intention of still playing. But he didn't exactly close the door on a potential change.
"There are always things that can happen. You are all aware of schedules and the way things happen this day and age with scheduling. It's different, way different - the BCS, 12th game," Holmoe said. "We are contracted with UCLA and all intents and purposes it's done. Of course, we were contracted with another team two weeks ago, and that seems to be off right now."
If anything he seemed to allude if a change happens it will be due to something done by UCLA rather than ourselves.

Sorry, I was giving you the benefit of the doubt and assigning some socially redeeming value to your actions, like feeding your family or putting in a swimming pool.

But I have a reputation to uphold. Socially redeeming actions are not part of that.
