LOL. Leave at 3 in morning for a 9 in morning start time.

Race report, or sorta.
Well, I recognize after this weekend, I'm not a roadie, yet. It was fun, but to be near the back of the pack in the beginner group is humbling. VOS is a three day stage race, TT, RR and Crit. First day I arrive eight minutes before start, and one can imagine the results. Not good. And it was longer than originally thought. So one keeps looking for a turn around that isn't there. Second day, 41 mile road race, which started off fast, not slow, like I preordered. So after I'm dumped I lollygag around the course. Third, crit. I stupidly start at back and guys sprint from the gun. So I'm spending time making it up the whole crit. The fun part is the teamwork if I ever get fit enough to compete. We had from our little team, a third place GC, a fifth place GC, a winner in the Cat 2 crit, and no significant crashes. Several people will upgrade as a result. Not I, I'm stuck at the bottom of the barrel. One interesting fact is most good racers are single or divorced. Wonder why. Lots of great looking babes though.
