I dont know how many of you watch this but Neal is an absolute genius.

They seperated teams in trios, so 4 teams of 3, which was a mix and match of the original 3 teams. Neal knew that each of the 4 teams had someone that had his back on their so if his team lost there was no way he was going home. So right before the weigh in he drinks 2 gallons of water, gains 17 pounds, throws the weigh in and someone else goes home. The best part is, he will sweat out that water pretty easily, and drop an enormous number next week which will keep him in the game again.

A lot of people are pissed and said he ruined the integrity of the game, i think he is a very smart man.

Drinking too much water at once can kill you. So maybe not as smart as you think.

He is still alive, He was not voted off the show and my guess is next week he throws up a big number, so he is still smart in my book.

How much water does it take to kill you? I know that little girl in Springville died because her parents forced her to drink water as a punishment. But this guy was like 350lbs so I am guessing it would take more than 2 gallons.

I saw a 160 lb. Elder chug a gallon of milk in less than two minutes. Pretty disgusting.

Did he throw up? I tried the gallon milk challenge and threw up for the next hour. We had 15 minutes to drink it.

I don't know. He did it at a ward party and I went home shortly afterward.

I did the gallon of milk thing in 15 minutes and had no problems at all.

Matt Hoover, season 2 winner, employed the same strategy. He gained like 20 pounds and the next week came back and dropped like 25 to stay in the game and he went on to win.

Smart guys.

Interestingly enough Ryan Benson the season 1 winner is a BYU alum, and the season 2 runner up Seth was LDS. Lots of obese Mormons. Myself included.
