I was going to ask this same question after seeing that special on ESPN about UNCs mascot. I am currently not an organ donor but I think i am going to switch, my biggest fear however is me being on my deathbed and a doctor seeing that i am an organ donor so they dont work on my quite as hard as they should. I know it sounds stupid but i am seriously worried about that.

Yes I am. Once I'm dead why would I need to hang on to perfectly good organs that could help save, or improve someone else's life? They're just going to stick me in the ground to rot after I'm dead anyway, so I don't see what the big deal is with cutting a few things out first. I have no hangups with that.

Sure, you can have my organs, but don't take them a minute sooner than you need to.

I am an organ donor.
Seriously, I owe it to the world to be able to give my organs. I also have a note on my license that my legs and abs are available should I die as well. Those will be snatched up in a heartbeat. |
