Lack of Sleep
Man...don't know what it is, but I'm having problems sleeping...and once I get to sleep I wake up many times during the night.
I come home from work totally exhausted and think that I won't have any problem falling asleep...then when I hit bed......I can't fall asleep. Frustrating as hell,,,especially when I know I've got a big day the next day and getting some good sleep would sure help. Every once in a while I'll try an over the counter sleeping pill like one of a Tylenol PM or something and it helps some,,but I HATE having to rely on a sleeping pill to get a good nights rest. Many of my siblings rely on a prescription such as Lunesta or something else...but I would really like to avoid going that route if possible. Any suggestions? I hate feeling run down all day long cause I can't sleep.

Probably a thought you've already had, but I've always found that exercise (either early in the morning, or sometime in the evening) helps to give me enough energy to get through my day, but I'm always tired when I need to be and get a good deal of sleep.
Also, it could help you burn some energy in regard to whatever may be on your mind that is preventing you from sleeping etc...

I always sleep better after I get some. Maybe you could try that?
Or, you could ask Sooner if a little self-service has the same effect. |
