Default Lessons I learned while putting my bike together

1. If you are going to use used motor oil to temporarily grease your pedals, do not leave the container on the coffee table with the cap off. You might brush it, knock it over and it may spill all over the carpet, spray the wall and the TV.

2. If you later buy solid lubricant grease, do not leave it on the den counter. Even though your 3 yeard old son has never taken anything from the counter before, he may be observing you and think that red grease looks tasty. And he may take it down, and start to eat it. Even though he is the PICKIEST eater you have ever heard of who will not even eat a lot of sweet food, nor juice nor soda. Luckily I think he got just a taste. Not much. Lithium in there is not good.

Maybe I should have worked on it in the garage.
