Default This board is really tilted

toward liberals and those who value highly their intellect.

Any place that gets more posts on cycling and fitness than football has to be a place where nerds reside comfortably.

I'll count myself as one counter to your description.

I'm very conservative. Love BYU football. Love to cycle. Much of the liberalism on this board drives me nuts...and I can only take so much before I have to ban myself from reading some of the drivel.

There was a time when this board was in its infancy that there were more cycling posts than football and religion, I think combined.

But you're right, everyone knows cyclists are smarter.

Remind me of which football games were played last Saturday.

Cycling in July is a rite of passage.

Boobs are still in here though.

How much did riding a bike as a missionary influence the current group of Cougarguard cycling aficionados?

True...I was first drawn to this board because of the cycling content. I love to ride...and quite frankly, I can't think of a better combination BYU football and cycling tips.

I never rode a bike on my mission.

England has such good public transportation...I didn't need it. And, I had a car for most of my time.

Where'd you go on your mission? I was in London, but spent most of my time in East Anglia, which required substantial cycling. Obviously, to cycle in London is to dance with death on a daily basis.

I rode a Pee-Wee Herman style bike through my whole mission so really didn't find the love there. I did serve in a cycling crazed country but didn't get into riding until about 2004.
