You mean you stating that differences are clear DOES make it so if someone isn't obtuse? Does that fly on your compound?

Dana Perino (former Bush pres sec) had an interesting take on this last night. She said that when you're speaking from that podium, you're not just addressing 15-20 reporters, or even the American people, but you're speaking to the world. The comments you make represent the presidency to people in all countries.

She wondered what the message would be to (for example) the peoples of Eastern Europe, to see a US President attack and ostracize a legitimate media outlet. Reminiscent of Venezuela or the old Soviet Union, rather than the 1st-Amendment-loving United States of America.

In other news, I saw Bob Beckel, Democrat strategist and staunch Obama supporter (and FN contributor), call the admin's attacks on the news station unwise. He said with the exception of about 3 opinion shows, the rest of programming is news, emphasizing the difference between it and talk radio.

Someone with a little imagination could try and picture what the reaction would be, had Bush tried to exclude, say, CNN from the White House press pool.

Obama surrenders.

I hope you idiots that voted for him are happy.
When Tom Landry was unable to keep up with the changing face of the NFL and as a result drove the once proud Cowboys into the ground, and then Jimmy Johnson took over and implemented a new system, how many games did they win in his first season?

Howl away young Super Bowl XII fan, howl away. This is where we are: nearing the end of Jimmy's first season. He took a 3-13 team and made them an even-worse 1-15. He's one of the most terrible rookie coaches in history. Should have stayed down in the college ranks.

From what I understand, Jimmy Johnson was in fact a TERRIBLE pro coach when he started. His gameplans were embarrassingly rudimentary. He was out of his league.

But you know what? He got better. He learned on the job.

Has Obama gotten better? Not yet, he hasn't.
