Why is that so clear? Did Drudge offer his opinion somewhere that I missed?

Maybe Drudge agrees with you, that this helps Obama. Maybe Drudge is eager to see the cause of socialism advanced with an Obama election.

That's pretty unlikely, given that Drudge is consistently linking old polling data favorable to McCain on his site too, and doing so in huge red print.

Still no word on your definition of socialism. Anytime now...

Funny, I don't see that. The links I see are:

ZOGBY MONDAY: Obama 49.9%; 45.1%...
OBAMA +7.3
TIPP: Obama 46.5%, McCain 43.3%, Not Sure 10.1%...

All posted without commentary, none are in huge red print.

I am not talking about today's poll listing (which I already made clear). And here is an article mentioning exactly what I did:

http://www.fivethirtyeight.com/2008/...weeks-old.html

And another:

http://www.fivethirtyeight.com/2008/...in-reboot.html

and another:

http://www.fivethirtyeight.com/2008/...cain-with.html

And here are the headlines right now on Drudge (from top to bottom):

1. THE OBAMA VAULTS: Constitution 'reflected fundamental flaw of this country that continues to this day'...

2. 'I'm not interested in the suburbs. The suburbs bore me'...

3. BIDEN GRILLED BY NEWS ANCHOR: IS OBAMA MARXIST?

4. YOU'RE PUNISHED: OBAMA CAMPAIGN CUTS OFF TV STATION...

5. ANOTHER: Biden riled by Philly CBS affiliate anchors' questioning...

I think it is pretty clear Drudge is making a push for McCain. It is his perogative- it's his website, and one that I enjoy reading. Surely you must be aware by now that he leans conservative, aren't you? Surprising this is even a debate.

Still waiting on your definition of socialism (something tells me you won't ever respond...)

You said Drudge is "consistently linking old polling data."

Your first example was a poll released 3 days after it was finished, the same day Gallup released a poll showing the same 2-point margin. The second was just-released Zogby and Rasmussen polls. The third was a just-released Nickolodean kids poll.

Maybe you should provide your definition of the words "consistent" and "old."

We get it, Tex. Drudge is liberal and is secretly helping Obama. It is all clear now.

By the way, the first link was to a poll that was 2 weeks old, not 2 days old, and was an internet based poll.

The second link was to a poll showing BREAKING NEWS about a 1 point gain in one poll for McCain and a 2 point gain in the other (still trailing significantly in both).

The third was BREAKING NEWS about a kids poll. The point isn't (obviously) that everything Drudge posts is old, but that Drudge is posting info he thinks will help McCain. The first poll I showed you was an example of Drudge digging up old polling information to help McCain (which he clearly did). You can't even report correctly what happened on that poll (unsurprising), claiming it was 3 days old (it wasn't).

About your definition of socialism...

My definition of consistent: Tex's penchant for bad arguments
My definition of old: Tex's penchant for bad arguments.

From your own link:

"[The AP-Yahoo poll] entered the field on October 3 -- two weeks ago -- and left the field on October 13, which was this Monday."

In other words, the poll closed on the 13th and released results on the 17th. Three days. Four, if you want to count Friday.

Cali Coug: Drudge consistently posts old polling data.
Cali Coug: Just kidding, he doesn't.

Hmmm, ok.

Typical Tex. Use a lot of words to say nothing.

The first poll entered the field on October 3. That was over 2 weeks prior to the date it was released. The poll clearly was not designed to be a horse race type poll (as the link I provided also notes). And yet that is how it was cited.

It is good evidence of a larger point, and one that no reasonably intelligent person would disagree with: Drudge tilts to the right. Why are you arguing with this point?

Let's see if we can get you to take a position rather than pull your Fred Estaire routine once again:

Does Drudge lean right? If yes, then you agree with me and we can move on.

What is your definition of socialism? Let's see if you are capable of answering two very simple questions.

Gotcha. I'll send Drudge a note to remind him he should've posted the poll results on October 4th, nine days before the poll was completed.

Meanwhile it looks like Drudge is continuing to help Obama by posting a link to Boehner's criticisms of his "economic justice" nonsense. Hopefully America picks up on this, 'cause I don't think they want a socialist in office.

After listening to the audio, it is clearly taken out of context.

Last week, Drudge was touting 2 week old polls showing McCain "closing the gap!"
define please:

1) "Wealth distribution"
2) "Strengthening" the payroll tax.
