You get a whole culture of narking over there, of mullahs vying for moral superiority, and it should come as no surprise that there is an arrogant prick who would do this.

I'm sure it happens all over... there are jerks from every walk of life. This is in no way BYU or Cougarboard specific.

It's not difficult. But I think the value of what we discuss is more important in an archival sense, than the danger of outing.

In other words, I would hate to see everything down the drain because we have a few predator a-holes.

Besides that, I bet JohnGalt is glad that cougarboard has all his posts archived, so that he can prove that he didn't post proprietary information. If you're not doing anything you shouldn't be doing, it's always nice to be able to prove that.

I'm scared that something like that will happen to me too. This isn't the first time I've heard of something like this happening on the board. Any chatboard of that size is bound to attract some weirdos. I've been the recipient of some REALLY weird boardmails before.
