Thanks. I had never even heard of Tal Bachman until the PBS documentary. I guess when your label won't return your calls, whining about your mission is a great way to steal some spotlight.

Even worse, I hadn't known about his second album until I read this article hyping its release October of '04. I guess the guys not returning his calls had it right.

And I always thought Randy Bachman being Mormon was an urban legend. Must be another of those Mormon anti-heros like Alice Cooper and Wallace Steger.

No, it is very true. in fact, he quit the Guess Who becasue he wanted a more sedate lifestyle but the popularity of BTO sort of ruined that idea. He was a very active mormon and made a movie for the church about being mormon in Canda that we, as missionaries in Canada, showed every chance we could, even to Les Quebecios.
