Lost has totally picked up this year. I'm all over it.
I would let Sayid torture the living crap out of Juliet. Let him make Jack Bauer look like a pansy with the stuff he does to her. Get all the information out of her you can possibly get. She's soft. Shouldn't even take that much to get her to crack. Sayid's the only one with any sense. He needs to be the leader. |

Sayid can't be the leader. His skin is brown, and his name is not "Barrack".
It's interesting how the value of the Kate character has plummetted since the first season. She was much more interesting when she was a dangerous mystery. Now she is just boring vulnerable. I think that's where Juliet comes in. The dangerous smart woman. Like Ana-Lucia (not so smart, but dangerous). |

one other point, I thought it was interesting how Locke now knows what Kate did.
He knows the evil in her heart, and it was clear that he was disappointed and that Kate was ashamed. There is a theological aspect, those that are good and bad, those that are worthy, etc. |

Jay, are you still holding to your theory that there is a perfectly logical explanation for all of these folks being on the same plane? As we discover that their lives are more and more interwoven that seems less and less likely.

I definitely DON'T believe the Losties were selected and manipulated, unknowingly, onto the same flight, with the pilots in on it and dying for the cause, and miraculously surviving a plane crash. That's equally illogical to me as a bunch of plane passengers having an interconnected past. Fate. Now fate is definitely in play here. Fate was at the heart of the Eko/brother story. Fate is at the heart of a lot of stories on the island that have nothing to do with the Others' manipulations. I believe there's something more than randomness to the Losties all getting on that flight, but it's a fate/spiritual/higher power thing not a manipulation by the Others. |

I think Juliet's a plant. Jack's a wuss and he's going to go soft on her. Let Sayid do what he wants with her. |
