Default Saw "Breach" tonight

Really good film. It's not the kind that is super exciting or has much, if any action.

It's a well constructed movie detailing the ending of Robert Hanssen's spying on the U.S.

The acting in it was fantastic, particularly Chris Cooper as Hanssen.

The pace of the movie was a bit slow for my tastes, but it was necessary to set things up.

I really enjoyed the movie.

I can't wait to see this. There was a made for tv movie a few years ago about Hanssen. I have heard some people complain that the movie was almost sensational in the way they depict this devoutly religious man who is committing treason. But Hanssen was not just an ultra orthodox Catholic but a member of Opus Dei. Did that come out in the movie?

I'll have to ask my old man if he knew Hanssen.

There was a brief reference to the Opus Dei, but never any explanation about his involvment with it.

I caught this yesterday and really enjoyed this film. A bit slow at times and if you were thinking action this isn't it. It's a suspenseful thriller though. But it's a great story. Hanssen was an interesting fellow. Opus Dei member and sexual deviant. Extremely loyal and a traitor all the same. He's serving the rest of his life in the Supermax, ADX Florence.
