Default Did anyone take Genetics from Duane Jefferys at BYU?

The fruitfly reference in Cryptic Permutations got me wondering whatever happened with him.

I had heard from a buddy that he got in a bit of trouble due to some of the course material that he was teaching.

If so, thats too bad. He was a phenomenal teacher IMO. 10 years later and I still regularly refer to some of the stories that he told us about Les Nyhams(sp???) syndrome.
