Default So the crazy man has nukes.

Now what do we do? I can't think of a lot of good options at this point. What do you folks think?

I can't post this on CB due to my current ban, but that's probably just as well. I think I could safely predict the majority of the responses over there.

The world significantly changed last night with North Korea detonating a Nuke.

What is to be done? Wow...in a Nuclear age with someone as psychotic as this guy who is working with terrorist regimes in Iran and Syria,,,,I have some ideas what to do, but I admit, I really don't know yet.

I cannot think of a good solution. It reminds me of that movie involving Matthew Broderick, I think, where the computer gained control of our nukes almost starting thermonuclear war, but Matthew convinced the computer to learn of the zero sum game by asking it to play tic-tac-toe.

The dynamic are even more interesting in that I wonder what China's role in all this is. Do they want the diversion so they can focus upon Taiwan?

We've bungled North Korea since Truman and we may live to regret it.

War Games is the name of that movie. I remember seeing that in the theater with my Dad when I was around 10 years old.

I was going to suggest that Bush challenge Kim Jong-il to a game of tic-tac-toe to illustrate the futility of nuclear war, then I realized there was a decent chance Bush would lose repeatedly, which would not be the message we would want to send!!

I'd prefer Bush have Kim race Bush on bikes around the ranch.
