Default So I'm finally going to rent The Big Lebowski

A good friend of mine in Atlanta that I was chatting with tonight told me I need to go watch it.

I'm not a big fan of Coen Brothers movies cause they come across as SO bizarre to me, but he said that he watches it once a month with his Dad and they just laugh their ass off.....so I'll get it and report.

If you don't like Coen Bros. movies, I think you'll hate this one.

Well maybe I'm not renting it then....I just went to 3 Blockbusters and 2 Hollywood Videos and no one had it. 3 of them didn't even have it available to rent. How lame is that?

The one Hollywood that I thought had it. While checking out, the clerk opens The Big Lebowski case and there's a copy of Walk The Line in there instead.

Dur!

Walk the line isn't a bad show though...so you would've been alright with that one.

If you don't like the others, then I would be surprised if you like it. But you never know.

It's kind of like a cross between Raising Arizona and Fargo. Sort of.

Raising Arizona is an all time great. Fargo is terrific. The Big Lebowski was solid as well. O Brother where art thou was a movie that I disliked the first time that I watched it. Now, if it is ever on, I watch it and I enjoy it. Coen brother movies seem to get better with multiple viewings.
