Anyone else see "Inside Man"?
Just recently watched it on DVD (I'm a Denzel fan, also like Foster) and was pleasantly surprised.
For a movie that didn't do spectacularly in the box office, I was left wondering why not. Smart story, entertaining. Kinda reminded me of what watching Usual Suspects felt like the first time. I need to watch it (Inside Man) again. I also finally watched the Motorcycle Diaries and enjoyed it. They did a good job taking most of the polemic edge off a guy that was as divisive as they come in his lifetime--a symbol of the 60s here in the US. Entertaining movie and good story of human compassion and change.

I liked the Inside Man quite a bit. Very different. Clive Owen is terrific. I really enjoy his stuff. I like Foster too though her role in the movie was a little different and I didn't always like her mystery--it would have been nice to learn a little more of her...Denzel was very good. That was a thumbs up movie for me.

I thought it was okay, but have to admit my bias in that I'm not a big fan of Spike Lee's films.
Having said that it was interesting to see him tackle a completely different genre. It was also interesting to see Jodie Foster play a total bitty.
