Many LDS families evacuated to Bryan/College Station before the hurricane hit.

I understand about 50 families were in the Bryan chapel, fewer in the CS stake center.

I am told that most families have remained in the churches. Probably because Galveston and Houston, with impassable roads, no water or electricity, curfews, remain places that are not hospitable.

Bryan/CS did not lose power. But nearby towns lost 100% power.
