He won't need it. Romney is currently in third behind Huckabee in South Carolina by only 1 percent, and all three are within margin of error so it could be a wash.

Problem that McCain and Huckabee have is that cannot win South Carolina with their gloves on. The Palmetto State loves bare knuckles knock down drag out politics. They are not turned off by any so called negative campaigning that sticks to a candidates positions on key issues. Personal attacks are still anethema, but "contrasting" is perfectly acceptable.

A big debate tonight on FOX with all the GOP candidates including Ron Paul this time. This is in Myrtle Beach (my old stomping grounds).
