I finished this book several weeks ago and it still come into my mind every now and again. What a fantastic book. Mrs Mormon Red Death got me "Big Rock Candy Mountain" for christmas which I am excited to read.

I had a friend in elementary school named Loren whose father's name is Lyman Ward. But that family moved to Seattle when I was in 5th grade and I haven't seen any of them since.

Just thought you'd like to know.

It is a great book. Very western.
