One thing I love about Mendenhall
is how mighty Utenation loves to portray him.
He only recruits mormons and uses religious pressure to land kids at BYU. Just a younger Roger Reid. How it must make their collective pussies hurt to know he is taking such an exclusionary method and then beating CamelToe Kyle around the head, ears and eyes with it. What a conundrum. Everything they have been taught and hold dear is that we are all enriched with diversity. Being surrounded by different ethnicities and folks of varying sexual preference is just enriching because. Such a method will ensure more temporal success as everyone is celebrated. Yeehaw! Then comes Bronco and homoganeous BYU....HOW ARE THEY WINNING THIS WAY????? Oh how their heart would love to enjoy BYU's success what cognitive dissonance the great Bronco must be bringing into their lives. For the record, I don't share the Ute interpretation of Bronco's methodology, but it makes me laugh how they must struggle to reconcile the method with the success.......MY DAMN CULTURAL ANTRHOPOLOGY PROFESSOR ASSURED ME IT WOULD NOT WORK THIS WAY!!!!!! LOL!

I am rather fond of how BM talks like a management seminar. I also enjoy the mental gymnastics that some BYU fans are going through considering his new I want a soft schedule stance. It doesn't quite conform with their belief that BM is setting BYU up for a MNC.
I don't like how BM wins football games. I am just hoping that someday BM decides to move on to another school, not because it will hurt BYU (I think BYU will rebound just fine as the new coach would use the BM model) but because the reaction of BYU fans would be priceless. Alas, I don't think my dream will come true. |

He's also gotten the titans in Salt Lake to make BYU cover up and not punish HC violations.

Even better. Along with self-righteousness, perceived BYU hypocrisy really sends ute fans (ALUF's and non-ALUF's alike) into a tizzy. We're still hearing about McMahon dipping snuff in an interview way back round 1980 from our crimson brethren.

Bronco speak is tough for Utes and Cougars to interpret. I remember his early statements and how it was intepreted by the mullah segment of Cougar Nation.
Only those who want recruit BYU will end up at BYU. Gee, why were offers extended to Shak and Krueger? Bronco will mainly recruit LDS kids planning on going on missions? huh Luckily, I have forgotten most of the intepretations that had me scared to death. |

It seemed like your own interpretations are what had you scared to death.
