BYU has a terrific drum line. It all makes sense now knowing that their coach is a Ute. I'd imagine that those involved in the drum line, band, etc. is a lot like the athletes in that there isn't the hatred between the rival schools like there is the fans. Most of the players at Utah and BYU are friends away from the field. It's just us fans that take things so seriously.

Didn't know that about the set of Yamaha drums. I don't know much about the drums themselves - I just know (in an amateurish way) what a good line sounds like.
