Heroes is losing me already
Just a few episodes into season 2 after watching season one on DVD couple weeks ago, I'm already losing interest. The Claire story is overly dramatic and going nowhere. Nobody cares about the Latino couple. Petrelli's mother's involvement is getting overly complicated. Whoever said Heroes is what Lost wanted to be is WRONG.

I think Hereos will improve in the next few episodes because there is some good potential out there. The never ending drama between Claire and dad is indeed getting old. I wish they could remove all the fluff and move along the plot but then we would be left with a 10 minute show every week. |

The producers of Heroes have never figured out which threads are interesting and which are not. The Nicky thing has been stupid from the get-go.

I like Claire and I like the fluff story lines. I missed most of last night's episode, unfortunately. Hopefully I can catch it online.
I agree though, the Nikki story was boring. |

Claire's a good character. The drama with her dad about whether or not someone's going to find her is getting painful. The writers on that show have a problem with saying the same thing over and over again. Nikky wants her son to have a good life. We get it! Claire's dad wants to protect her. We get it!

I lost interest after they gave me the worst season finale of any series I've ever watched. That atrocity was simply unforgiveable. I've tried to like this season, but I can't. It's a snoozefest.

Heroes was at it's best midway last season. It's gone downhill ever since. I agree with most of Jay's analysis of season one that he posted before.
It's too unfocused. They need to cut out some characters and plot lines. And Sylar is one of the most flat, boring villains ever. The only plot line I see that might be interesting is the Matt vs his dad mind games one. And we'll see what Kristen Bell does for the show next week. |
