Default Should I watch the Sopranos?

I recently started a blockbuster online account. Currently watching the first season of Entourage. Its kinda funny. Interested in starting on the Sopranos. Have any of you followed the show? Is it worth getting into?

it's only like the best show ever made.

seriously it probably is among the best shows ever made.

it does have some violence. it does have nudity.

but largely, it is about family relationships.

if you start watching it, be prepared for it to dominate your life until you catch up to the current season!

Not what I would call family fare, but the best TV series of all time, IMO.

HBO is really on a roll.

Six Feet Under was excellent (we are wrapping up season one via netflix right now).

Deadwood is pure poetry. It might not ever find the widest audience appeal, but it is the nearest thing I have seen to Shakespeare on television.

Curb Your Enthusiasm is one of the funniest shows on television.

The Wire is about as good as it gets for a drama.

The Sopranos is one of the best programs ever.

Entourage is an ejoyable diversion.

Rome was a miss, as far as I am concerned. I never could get into it.

Big Love continues to show promise.

The last few years of HBO have represented a real high point in the quality of television.

Don't watch it unless you want to screw your week. I got into Sopranos during their 3rd season. I saw one episode and was hooked. I ended up with all of the seasons on my computer and watched the first 2 seasons in about 2 days.

It is a great show.
