today when a girl got up in Sacrament meeting and spoke about how her testimony was rattled by handing out little flyers for some ward event to some non-members in her area. She's young, but I still found it to be a bit shocking that that's all it takes to question her whole belief in Christ. She closed her talk by saying that her testimony was repaired by going and staring at the Christus in the visitors center at Temple Square and recommending us all to do the same. I don't like to be judgemental of other people's testimonies and spiritual experiences, however it kind of makes me wonder what my deal is that I have to actually do some work for a testimony and staring at a statue in a visitor's center isn't going to cut it for me.
