Default History was made at the Baseball Hall of Fame induction ceremony today...

For the first time ever - and most likely it will never happen again - the two players, Cal Ripken Jr. and Tony Gwynn had something in common other than Hall of Fame credentials.

Both players played for over 20 years and each started and ended their career with one team. It's refreshing to see something like that, especially with players going to the highest bidder as free agents.

It was a great ceremony to watch today.

Congrats to Rip, Gwynn, Rick Hummel (sportswriter) and Denny Matthews (broadcaster for the Royals for the last 39 years) for getting inducted into the Hall.
