I can't imagine how much it hurts to be on the verge of winning it all, only to have it yanked away from you a few stages away.

And I imagine the French considered this to be a year when a surprise Frenchman might win their Tour, without an English speaker on the podium. So for their fun, they will likely see two, not one, plus a plucky Spaniard.

The fact that Raz was fast after two hard days, whereas Contador was slower indicates Contador might be clean. Raz got stronger, strange eh?

Cadel Evans may stage another like the 89 super miracles coming from behind to take it on the last ITT. It appears to be setting itself up for a Grand Finale.
