on very rare occasions Monson will make a good point. He's a decent writer when he writes stuff that isn't only meant to troll the audience.

Now BYU will not want to hire a poly, for fear of appearing to succumb to a political agenda.
Monson sabotages BYU yet again. Smart guy that Monson. |

Yeah I was thinking this article may hurt the likelihood of it happening.

Maybe Mormon newsroom will come out with a press release saying they were planning on doing it a month ago.

"We were going to expand the role of women in the church, but because of Kate Kelly and not wanting the perception that she had any influence on our decision making, we have rolled all that back. Sorry."

If we are going with a poly coach, I want Ken N.
Sitake is an unknown quantity for me. No HC experience. Anae, I'm not convinced has a higher ceiling than Bronco. I wonder if he can recruit better than Crowton. I wonder if he is a good manager of the fan base. |

I would prefer somebody who has demonstrated experience as you point out. But.....

No option offense here though please. I'll stop watching games if we're an option team. If Ken N. decides to run a passing offense and gets an OC who will do that, then I'd be ok with it. Not sure that's realistic though. Option football coaches seem to get hooked on it and don't change typically. At least I've never seen one who has. The minute he institutes an option offense here Mangum is gone. Hello Beau Hoge.
