Help with Homer
Still grappling with parts of Iliad, sorry guys.
Ἀλλ᾽ ὅτε δὴ πόρον ἷξον ἐϋρρεῖος ποταμοῖο Ξάνθου δινήεντος, ὃν ἀθάνατος τέκετο Ζεύς, ἔνθα διατμήξας τοὺς μὲν πεδίον δὲ δίωκε πρὸς πόλιν, ἧι περ Ἀχαιοὶ ἀτυζόμενοι φοβέοντο 5ἤματι τῶι προτέρωι, ὅτε μαίνετο φαίδιμος Ἕκτωρ· this is the time when he cuts them in half at the river Xantos. Athanatos is what? It's begotten or something like that.
