Question for Tex, Indy, et al
Has a church leader ever said something untrue or regrettable? If so, at what level? Stake President? Seventy? Apostle? Prophet?
Just curious. |

Undoubtedly, but I don't keep a filing cabinet warehousing all known instances to serve as a interminable Parade of Got'chas.

Personally, I don't have a problem with people
Who don't think leaders make mistakes or say things that are untrue. I just appreciate it when they don't wear that belief around as some sort of "badge of honor" and look down on others who may not believe the same.

Very valid point here
I don't know about others, I would only point out a spoken flaw by a leader if somone was trying to brow beat me into doing something by saying the leaders were flawless. Those type of people (brow beaters) are also in the abject moron classification.

Nor do I. But I find it amusing when somebody brings something up how quick some are to defend them as infallible. Making it look like that's what they believe. |

My good grandmother for one, God rest her faithful soul. To her reality was a philosophy of man, mingled with scripture.
To say her husband's younger brother, Leonard Arrington, could yank her chain was to put it mildly.

Arch said something insightful on this. Lord's annointed = a temple reference, i.e. includes a lot more people than you think including probably most of those abject morons you fight with on the internet.
