Default there is only one thing better than cycling

and it's not as dependable.

There is nothing better than getting a good hard workout on the bike, while everbody else sleeps. It is a rush. The bike is the best piece of transportation ever built.

Nonono. An early swim is way better. If you ride too early you risk getting hit by a morning commuter trying to balance Starbucks and apply mascara while texting her kids and attempting a left turn.

Swimming is for amateurs.

The best is a swim, bike and run.

As my life insurance policy is rather low payout, I prefer to bike/run in full daylight. For an early morning workout, I'll take the swim every time.

The death benefits of my life insurance, thanks to my beloved, could support small Latin American countries.

I watch out for myself.

The problem with the pool is the scenery never changes. I love how I feel after a swim but during is a little bit of torture.

I also feel a little dizzy after a long swim workout. I always find that frustrating.

That's what makes it so great...early morning, completely submerged, isolated from everyone else, alone with yourself, nothing to explore but the landscape of the mind. (Insert barren landscape jokes here.)

But I understand your point. On a slow day laps can get rather tedious.
