I've not turned against Sitake or Detmer
I really have no idea if they are going to be good coaches and have success. They need to be given time to get it together and develop these players.
The players haven't quit on their coaches. Like Crowton's players did. And frankly, I don't think we have any good options to replace Sitake. We have to have an active devout Mormon guy who is rah-rah and will take a job that doesn't pay all that well. So yeah, we're going to promote a guy who probably wouldn't be hired at comparable schools. We're going to dance with he who brung us. |

Do you believe some of Crowton's players threw games? It sure seemed like it the last season, vs. Boise and UNLV.

I have no idea if they were doing that. I kind of doubt it. But it sure looked like they didn't care one bit, and were making many "business decisions" in avoiding contact or really trying.

It appears Ty is in over his head. He may understand offense, but it doesn't appear he understands his talent and how to maximize the talent he has.
