You've convinced me it's critical to our survival, but unlike what CB thinks it says nothing about our prestige as we had to beg.
Amusing that oxcoug is comparing the ACC vs. Pac-10 academic prowess like we're in the conference. I'm sure he's half joking. |

It is critical to our relevance to be P5. Many non P5 are not going to survive. Unless the financial structures are changed Obama style. You know, money taken away from the rich and given to the poor.
But do you think Alabama really cares if Wyoming has a football team or not? That's a tough thing to hang your future on. As a non P5 our finances will suffer. Our recruiting will suffer (has already suffered). Our on the field success will be reduced. Whereas if we had p5 status the opposite would occur. Unless something amazing happens, we are destined to die a slow death. Already you can tell that BYU fans are losing interest. |
