This website argues for Haplotype X, as possibly being of European, Middle-Eastern origin:
http://www.jefflindsay.com/LDSFAQ/DNA.shtml#x This is not made up by Mormons, it actually has a name: The Solutrean Hypothesis This recent study goes against that: http://www.ajhg.org/retrieve/pii/S0002929708001390 |

"Also, a press release from the foundation notes, 'The study also confirms the presence of genetic subgroups of more rare, less known and geographically limited genetic groups who arrived later.' Those groups are not detailed in the paper."
Obvious what the spin on this will be, but how does one explain that the 95% wouldn't count as "other nations" per 2 Nephi 1:8? |
