HB Arnett is down on BYU's coaches
But his response to that is this: we've got what's available to us. The pool of available coaches is extremely small. And how our coaches have been pursued by other schools says a lot about our current coaching (not flattering).
I think that's what a lot of people are starting to realize: we have a coach, who despite his austere, laconic nature, actually talks bigger than he can deliver. And these heralded recruits that are being retained in greater percentages than ever before, actually have less talent than classes from years prior that produced NFL players. It's a very sobering, depressing, great time for BYU fans. Actually, all times for BYU fans are sobering. |
