Default two koreans dead, 19 more to go

at the hands of the Taliban.

In 2007, it's hard to believe that OBL operates with impunity, and the Taliban controls huge sectors.

All these folks are feared to soon die.

These men are barbarians with no regard for human dignity, life or freedom. Sickening.

at some point the calculus must change, and the taliban and its supporters must be targeted in aggressive ways.

Maybe Karzai should start capping one of the prisoners they want released each time they kill a S. Korean hostage. I wonder how they'd react to a dose of their own medicine?

edit: I'm not serious.

preferable to torture.

Even though I am against torture, don't put my back against the wall. Because while I could be the greatest proponent of turning the other cheek, I could also be the avenging angel.

How long will the Lord's hand be stayed?

I'm not one of those guys who makes the "9/11 was staged" or "we never landed on the moon" arguments but I honestly can not understand how/why OBL and the Taliban have not been captured, put in small dark rooms, experienced a few human dog piles, and then given a complimentary flight to a fabulous vacation spot in a nation that hasn't signed a treaty banning electro-genital memory prompting hardware.

Dick and Co. can "disappear" anybody in the world with a name that even sounds Islamic but somehow the folks from clan of the cave bear have skated for over half a decade.

An example of Muslim religious tolerance.

Mindful, care to opine on that one?
