This month in the Ensign there's an article about a girl that was raped using the date rape drug right at the end of her sophmore year. She was out with an 18 year old member that she and her family trusted, sad.
Anyway, because of another medication she was taking she has a clear memory of everything that happened. I was just curious what the normal affect of the date rape drug is? Do the people typically pass out/go unconcious, or do they just become unable to remember what happened for a period of time. The article also mentions that frequently girls don't even know anything has happened. I'm curious how this is possible? Don't they 'come to' in a new place and realize they're missing a huge portion of their night? If they don't realize a crime occured, how can you measure whether or not most victims know a crime as committed? |

stonewall, I'd say the best course is to not to try to use the date rape drug at all, instead of finding the best way so as they don't remember.
