I need to sign up for a race
I've done four 3-mile runs in the last six weeks. I just can't motivate myself unless I have something to train for. Couple that with my all-halloween candy diet of the past week and I'm in pretty poor shape. Any good half marathons in the mormon corridor in early 09?

The Salt Lake Track Club has a winter running series, but I think it only goes to a 15k. I just checked their web site and there's no mention of '09 yet, but I'm sure they'll be doing it.
http://www.slctrackclub.org/ The first 1/2 that I know of is part of Strider's Winter Training Series. I've run it 3 years in a row and enjoyed it. The route is the first 1/2 of the Ogden Marathon course. http://go.ebizwebpages.com/striders/...racing_circuit |

Speaking of that race, I assume you heard that Devine brought in Elite Racing to run it? Starting in '09 it will be the Rock 'n Roll Las Vegas Marathon. I expect it to grow significantly now that somebody who knows what they're doing will be running it. I may run it again in '09.

I was going to suggest polynesian becasue then you would always have a big family, but I guess I misunderstood the issue.

Thanks, I think. It sort of feels like the pat on your head your mom would give you when no one else would.
